S club's back and better than ever!,
By afcrazygenie@yahoo.com (Boston, Massachusetts, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: 7 (Audio CD)
This is such a fantastic CD! I recommend it to all of you if you're an S Club fan. Like many other Brit groups, they're experimenting with new styles of music, while still managing to keep their unique sound. 1.) REACH: A poppy tune where everyone (mostly) get lil' solo's. They sound fantastic and it's such a catchy song. It should be a single in the States. 10/10 2.) NATURAL: Rachel's solo, and what a beautiful voice she has. It has an arabian sound to it, mixed in with a lil' pop, and what do you get? S Club's first single in the US from this album. Very danceable. 10/10 3.) I'LL KEEP WAITING: It's got the sway-type of music with Brad rapping (in a good way). It's got a good beat and it's a really great song. 9/10 4.) BRING THE HOUSE DOWN: Bubble gum pop at it's best. A cool guitar intro, then bring in the cool bongo like percussion and you've got a cool tune. 10/10 5.) BEST FRIEND: This isn't one of their better tracks. Brad raps on this one as well. It get's a tad repetitive cause they're constantly saying "You're my best friend". 6/10 6.) ALL IN LOVE IS FAIR: This has a twangy sound to it. A mellow song to just sway and tap your feet. Nothing too notable about it. 7/10 7.) LOVE TRAIN: Even better than BRING THE HOUSE DOWN. They sound similar, but this is Paul's song and he can really make this song sound fun. 10/10 8.) CROSS MY HEART: This has a cool beat to it. One of those sway & tap your feet songs. The words will kinda get stuck in your head, though. 8/10 9.) THE COLOUR OF BLUE: A fun song. It has a different sort of tune to it than the usual S Club songs. It's upbeat, but not enough beat to really start dancing. 8/10 10.) I'LL BE THERE: There's a lil' spoken singing done by the girls on this track. It's really catchy and I constantly find myself humming and singing along with it. 10/10 11.) TWO IN A MILLION: Also found on their first album, this is one of the best ballads that they have put out. 10/10 This is really an exciting album. I love it. Ever since I've gotten it, it's been in my CD player on repeat mode. I must've heard it at least 10 times already. I never tire of it.

S Club 7 is awesome!!,
By A Customer
This review is from: 7 (Audio CD)
7 is S Club's second album, and is much better than their first. Some people criticize S Club, because they don't write their own songs, but who cares?? They're fun to listen to, and good singers. 1)Reach--it's an awesome song, really great to dance to. A few people get solos here, including Jon, who has a gorgeous voice, and Paul, who I think is the most musical of the group. 2)Natural--this one's sung by Rachel. I usually don't like this type of music (Brittany Spearsish), but I really enjoy this song, and Rachel's sounds great. This is also a single in the US. 3)I'll Keep Waiting--I love this song. Bradley sings/raps on it, and the tune is really cool. Even though it's a little slow, it's really fun to dance to. 4)Bring the House Down--Another fun dance song. It's upbeat and sounds cool. Not much more to say about it. 5)Best Friend--This is probably my least favorite song on the album. Bradley raps on it, and it isn't the best rapping I've ever heard..but it's an OK song anyway. 6)All in Love is Fair--this one's a little long, but the chorus is catchy. It's a good slow dance song. 7)Love Train--Paul sings on this, and he sounds great. The song is fun, and I really like the lyrics. 8)Cross My Heart--another slow one, not very memorable. It's definitely not my favorite 9)The Color of Blue--THIS one is my favorite. It's kind of different, but really catchy, and Jo sounds so cool when she sings. I just love this one. 10)I'll Be There--Tina sings lead, really low and breathy, and it comes out sounding great. Not so great for dancing, but fun to listen to. 11)Two in a Million--this one was on S Club's first album too. It's a nice song, slow but danceable. A nice way to end the album. If you like to listen to S Club 7, then you should definitely watch the show on Fox Family Channel. Each episode they sing one of their songs, and usually dance to it, and its fun to watch. Plus, these Brits are as good actors as they are singers and dancers. They have great comedic timing. So all in all, a great CD, and a great band.

Suprisingly entertaining and uplifting,

I bought this CD for my 13 year old daughter when she became addicted to their show on Fox Family. I could hear the music through the television, and I would shudder, thinking, "I'll be listening to this." Today on the way to the grocery store, she put a CD in the stereo and started singing to it. I started listening to it also, and found myself blasting up the stereo and doing dance moves I haven't done since I was 17. When we got to the grocery store, I asked her, "What was that music we were listening to? I'm in the mood to dance." She told me we were listening to S Club 7. I was flabbergasted! So, if there are any mothers who are out there thinking of buying this CD for your daughters ( or son) I highly reccomend doing so, because you'll find yourself putting it on when cleaning the house.

It's Time To Groove With S Club,
By Maurine "mo" (MD USA) - See all my reviews

This cd is a relatively good follow-up to their first album, "S Club." The cd released in America has different songs on it from the one released in England. "Two in a Million" was on their first album. "7" is missing a great song featuring Tina and Hannah, which I believe is called "Stand By You." "7" features more than it should, Bradley raps. "All in Love Is Fair" is a good song until Bradley raps in the way. "Natural" is a beautiful ballad featuring Rachel, who, I believe, also sings "The Color of Blue," which is good. Also good fun are, "Reach," "Bring the House Down," "Best Friend," "I'll Be There." All in all, a very good cd that has a lot of fun, dance to songs

The "7"'s have done it again!,
By
This review is from: 7 (Audio CD)
S Club 7 made up of 3 guys and 4 girls Paul, Bradly, Jon, Rachel, Tina, Jo have done it again with there second album "7". Unlike the 1st album S Club this album is a bit more mature with Songs Like "Cross My Heart". In this album each member gets there own solo song to sing and we really get the fell of therer voices. Just becuase they have matured it dosent mean they dont have the great pop sounds that made them famous like "Reach" all together this album is great and if you were a fan of the first one you will LOVE the second so "Reach" for the stars and get this album becuase you wont be dissapointed!

This album plain old [STINKS]!!!,
By "damondogsb" (Enfield, NH USA) - See all my reviews

This is a total [stinky] album from S Club 7. Most of the songs sound the same. Most of the songs have really corny lyrics in it. Like the song "Reach" (Track 1) has the corny sound and lyrics to it. Probably one of the only good songs on it is Track 13, "Never Had A Dream Come True". If you liked S Club 7's other CD and are expecting this CD to be like that... DON'T GET IT!!! It's a total different CD. They try to be "mature" and all this other stuff. It's a bunch of [malarky] because they're not.

Motivating Music,
By Nicola Samuells (Folkestone, Kent United Kingdom) - See all my reviews

I absolutely love S Club 7, their music is so lively and jolly that whenever their songs are played on the radio I just have to turn the sound up and sing along regardless of what misserable mood I am in. Be restassured that once the song has finished I am full of the joys of Spring and ready for anything that the World outside throws at me!!! Well done S Club 7 you are the best of all the rest. Not only are your songs brill but you show such a good example to youngsters out there who are looking up to you at all times.

REACH : A very upbeat, poptastic song that will have you dancing on the ceiling. NATURAL : A funky R&B number where Rachel sings lead vocals which will please you males out there. I'LL KEEP WAITING : A rapping song with a really catchy chorus. BRING THE HOUSE DOWN : Not my favourite, but good anyway and will get your feet tapping. BEST FRIEND : This is good as Bradley wrote it and so it proves that they write their own songs. ALL IN LOVE IS FAIR : This one to get you slow dancing to and a chorus that will go round and round in your head! LOVE TRAIN : My second favourite song on the album and good for getting ready to go out! CROSS MY HEART : One that I'm not a great fan of but it is OK. COLOUR OF BLUE : Another party song and Jo sounds really cool on it. I'LL BE THERE : Not fast, not slow, but it will have you swaying along with your other halfs! TWO IN A MILLION : One of the best ballads they've done and good for valentines day!
