This album is spectacular. I am surprised to see that the other viewers are focused on the negative rather than the positive. Regardless, of who wrote the other reviews you need to be focused on the message. For this to be the group's first album these boys are on point.I had the opportunity to see them on tour. There were no words to express these 6 spirit filled young men and the impact there ministry brings. I have to ask is the spirit really in the other reviewers. Before you put so much negativity in to tearing down, if your really a spirit filled believer your focus should be on building up. You need to really check yourselves and the gentlemen wasn't lying he was just reminding you Jesus is coming back, so you better get ready!

I am not a family member, nor do I live in the northern area. I thought this album was HOT. It's like a neosoul quartet. I even saw them live first and then got the album and was not disappointed. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. My opinion is, great vocals, great feel, wonderful vibe. Definetly a must have if you like traditional or modern gospel. Can't wait for the next one.

All songs on this CD is GREAT. Heard this group for the first time with Fred Hammond. Truly impressive.

This cd is beyond good. It is great ! It is a contemporary album with soulful R&B and gospel flava. These songs are awesome! This CD will feed all Spirits Believers and non-believers. My favorite songs are no. 5 (one more chance) and no. 10.

Why is it that most of the positve reviews for this album are from people that live in maryland near d.c.???????????????
Ronald Lindsey..................any relation to Dave "DaveyBoy" Lindsey? Why would you threaten someone with the wrath of Jesus Christ because they did'nt like the album and spoke freely about it? That is not Godly. Are you a true believer in Christ? I thought Andrae's opinion was rational, well thought and organized. Not to metion well informed about this craft. Shame on you for thinking that everyone should like your music. I think the only people on here that rave about this cd are relatives and friends. Because no one on here has had more than one post.

Ah.....7 Sons Of Soul. R&P (Rhythm & Praise) almost at it's finest. Vocal arrangement, check. Musical arrangement, check. Song writing and depth, coulda' been better if you ask me. What I mean by that is this. Some of the songs on the album that were just good, could have been alot better if they had tried to change up the usual songwriting criteria that we all are used to, Chorus /verse /chorus /verse /chorus /bridge /chorus /fade out. Nothing wrong with that format of songwriting, but if most of the songs on any album are written this way, there's nothing really special about the album. Artists like Stevie Wonder, R.Kelly, and Tonex get to where they are because they take chances, vocally, musically, and in song arrangement.

7 Sons have a unique sound, but some of there songs just kinda "Run On", as one of there song titles state. "What Is This", though it features Fred Hammond, was a disappointing song to me. Though it is a remake of an old gospel song, they should have added some new flavor to it. It's like they weren't really tryin on that one. Ditto for "Need You". Hey I know every song can't be a hit but still. "Run On" could've been better, although it is good the way it was arranged. "My All" is to me the best track on the album, a wedding song worthy of radio play. Other great tracks are "Hold On", "One More Chance", "Daddy Proud", and "How Long".

Comin' ya'll, take some chances! Good debut album, but not a standout. I expect better next time. Keep singing for the Lord 7 Sons, and sorry for being so harsh but that's just me.

I can't stop listening to this cd, it's inspirational, powerful, and great on the ears. I'm so happy that I invested a small amount of money for a huge return of good spiritual music. Thank you 7 Sons of Soul and keep letting God use you as vessels to inspire people from all walks of life.

This group is phenomenal. Great voices and the music, the music on my stero makes you feel like you are in the house of the lord - the words are nice and crisp. 7 Sons of Soul; you made it happen. Every song on this CD is a hit - I can't wait for the next CD.

Run On is definitely a hit! Some of the other songs are pretty good too. The CD is a nice mix of contemporary and the old timey traditional gospel songs. Looking forward to hearing more from 7 Sons.

this project is one the most remarkable projects produced. Every songs has a message to them. For all the HATERS and YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE. HERE'S MY MESSAGE FOR YOU. DON'T HATE JUST CONGRADULATE!!!! AND REMEMBER JESUS IS COMING BACK AGAIN!!!!
