Formerly from Chicago, Elizabeth Ward began her Spiritual journey in 1994 through books, seminars, meditation and classes. In February 2001 she embarked upon a month long journey into silence which resulted in the premises that inspired this book. She resides in the Pacific Northwest with her partner, Ted.
