I read 70x7+Beyond not expecting all that much. I had won 2 Frank Peretti books in an online auction, and the seller out of kindness sent me this 3rd book for free. It just happened to be this little book written by Monty Christensen. Well, a few months after reading the Perreti books, I decided I'd give the extra book a shot. Honestly, I don't even recall having put the book down for more than a few hours once I started! The feeling of abandonment while reading about Christensen as a child, the feeling of desperation for him to get out of the drug scene, the disappointment of going in and out of jail and prison, of treating his wife like someone he had just met on the street, and all in the middle of this, the mercy and forgiveness of the LORD just sitting there waiting for him to repent and change his ways.

Trust me, if you've never read this book, please go out and obtain a copy as quickly as you can. I guarantee you will luv it!

This book is one of the only books that I have not been able to put down. I am only 18 years of age but can relate easily to the things that are in this book. It makes me realise that God is in control of everything. This book has given me a burden for the people in my life involved with drugs and alcohol. It has helped me to give God everything, and trust that He will take care of me. Thank you Monty and Holly for sharing your story of true love with me and the rest of the world.

This book is absolutely wonderful--providing such hope for those of us who are caught up in the cycle of addiction and incarceration. My husband is into his third trip to a lock up facility. I shared this book with him, and he was just like me and many others--unable to put it down. I'm now purchasing another copy to send to the county jail in my home town which is full of addicts and alcoholics! Many thanks go to Holly and Monty for putting the horrors of this disease down in black and white and showing us that it can be overcome and that ANYTHING is possible with God's love.
