I have this because it came as part of a package deal with the Jet wet grinder. It fits the grinder and serves a purpose, but it doesn't hold all that much stuff. The drawers are small and it is hard to get all my jigs in there. A handy man would make his own base. The grinder is actually much smaller without the base. This may make it too tall for some work benches. If you don't need it, don't get it. If you want it, get it. It doesn't add any functional value to my shop.

The drawer are kind of small and tend to stick a little but they are conveninant and water proof.
What I like about this base is that it put the JET sharpener at a good height for me.

I found the base raises the sharpener too high on my workbench. It looks cool but adds no functional improvement.
