I'm using this jig on my 8" Sheppach grinder for dressing the side of the wheel with the JET 708018 DT-1 Diamond Truing Tool. It works great!

I bought this jig to go with the tool rest in order to be able to grind the side of scrapers. I did find however that I could not put any pressure on the tool rest (see my review on the tool rest).

There is nothing wrong with this jig except that I don't see any use without the tool rest.
