this item looks well but i dont know how the tires will hold up. also the front caster lock does not work as well as i would like it to. a little light duty.

Assembly went well and it does the job but it could use a couple of improvements.

The front swivel caster brake lock is useless when trying to immobolize this base during use. I had to shim with wood. Nothing new here, I have several bases both home made and various mfg's that do this.

Since this stand is for the Jet jointer, why can't it be predrilled to accept the jointer mounting tab holes? Also, why can't this unit ship with a few pennies worth of bolts, washers and ny-lock nuts to fasten the jointer to the base.

Overall recommended for the price, but it could use some improvement. Putting one together from scratch would take too much time and money. This solution to the mobile problem is ready to go out of the box with a few tweeks.
