Better than expected.... Very pleased.,

I ordered this set several weeks back while it was on backorder. Found another set locally for about half the price, but it was of extremely low quality, and I was concerned that the Jet set would be of similar sub-standard construction.
The Jet tools arrived and they are great. There's a sticker on the box that says made in Sheffield, England, and the red box looks suspiciously like the red box on my set of full-sized Sorby tools. Come to think of it, The handles look an awful lot like the Sorby's too. The same set from Sorby goes for about $120 retail. A little bit of honing, and they went to work. Nice balance.. a pleasure to work with.

For pen turners and similar you can't beat these tools. They are not good for large turnings and were not designed to be. The are totally awesome for detail work on large pieces but not for intial work. The Quality and Value are Great.

These are great little tools and, I am told, these are made by Crown Tools in UK. These are comparable to Sorby and Henry Taylor tools. Excellent quality and worth the price.
