Good for the price,

This chuck is a good little piece of machinery, keyword: "little". I've used it on quite a few projects and it performs well for small projects on small lathes (I have a 10 in. swing). Two reasons why 4 stars instead of 5:1. You really have to crank on it to get it tight, and the two bars aren't very long, so it is a little hard on the palms. 2. The "instructions" were pathetic, useless. I just figured it out by myself (assembly and usage) Overall, a good tool for someone who focuses on small projects, and a good value for the price.
