This tool rest is similar to the 709900 unit, only with a slightly larger radius for a more gradual, and longer curve. This new toolrest is great for turning the outside of larger bowls. Its 6" radius and 12" length allows you to keep your chisel close to the bowl blank while you are forming and finishing the edge. Constructed of heavy-duty steel bar stock, it will last a lifetime of heavy turning. It mounts into any toolrest banjo with a 1" post bore.
