this screen came in a long box, ready to be opened and installed on the wall. It is easy to use and does exactly as the discription said it would. One thing I wasn't sure of when I ordered it. It comes with two screw holes in the frame itself so it can be mounted flush with the wall, or you can use a mounting bracket to mount it away from the wall. Either way, it works wonderful and gives a perfect place to show movies.

I'd held off from getting a projector screen for a long time due to the cost. When this one came up on Amazon I thought there must be something wrong with it, but after some research it was actually a pretty respectable model. It arrived promptly and in perfect. A few things to know...

- This version is meant to be mounted on a wall or ceiling, it is not freestanding. I was looking for the former, so I was totally satisfied.
- It's pretty light. Although I would anchor it into ceiling/wall studs, weight bearing drywall bolts should easily support its weight.
- This product does not include a mounting kit, which is clearly stated. Mounting kits are widely available however, or if you're handy you can mount it yourself depending on your wall/ceiling.
- Screen retraction is manual and can be a little stubborn if you are unfamiliar with projector screens. I assure you it will retract fully and easily once you get the motion down.
- The back is black and very opaque. This is great for preventing light "bleed through" but is not suitable if you intend to use the screen for rear projection.

I mounted my screen on removable ceiling brackets, but it looks so good that I rarely take it down. In the future, I may build a free-standing frame so I can use it outside on occasion. Summer movies on the roof-top anyone? :-)

We were tired of projecting onto a wall for our home theater and looked around for an economical screen. I'm not the greatest with tools and was a little concerned about mounting a screen on drywall. But given the price I said what the heck and took a chance... and I am glad I did. The screen weighs about 12 pounds, and though it does not come with mounting hardware it is easy to find drywall anchors that can easily support this weight (I went for 50 lb anchors that cost $2 for a pack of 4). I didn't rush and took my time measuring and positioning the screen before installing the wall anchors. I took about 19.5 minutes for this, but once that was done installing the wall anchors and mounting the screen took maybe 2 minutes (and I got it right the first time!). It is a BIG improvement over the flat white paint wall. I'm using it to project 60" x 45" (for 4:3) and 60" x 34" (for 16:9) with room to spare. No issues with the manual pull down/pull it, just take your time and you will not run into any problems. I am VERY satisfied with this purchase, I just wish I hadn't waited so long before purchasing - at least the price fell a few bucks while I did!

Great screen size and picture quality. The model b by DaLite comes highly recommended and for good reason. Very good price for the quality. The only downsize is that it is long and slender so it might come damaged in shipping as mine did. It will have a tendency to crease right in the middle. Just pay attention to that when it comes in and keep your paperwork.

A nice bright screen for the price. The screen is not 100% flat, but that does not seem to affect the picture. I am using this screen for a DLP Projector and it works just fine. For this size of screen this is the best price you will get. I paid under $60.00 with free shipping. You can't beat that.

The pulldown mechanism broke after just 2 weeks! I only used the screen about 10 times. Very disappointed.

The screen arrived in a stout box. We mounted a white board to the ceiling and the shade was screwed into this white board. When pulled down, it covers a large window making the room darker for daytime viewing. Good action up and down. These screens are like the old fashioned window shades. They take gentle handling but will work for years if not abused so we are hopeful. Screen is bright and not pebbly like many. We take a lot of video of our old film movies and we cannot have the pebbly screen because of the focus. The screen is 6 feet by 6 feet so feels like a movie theater in our small room. Shipping was free.

the projector screen is very nice, except it doesn't come with any mounting materials. I have to buy my own mounting brackets.

When we purchased this screen we were expecting this to be one of those too good to be true scenarios because of the low price with shipping and handling included. But low and behold the screen is awesome. The quality is top notch. No problems with the pull down mechanism, mounting it was a breeze (we just used dry wall anchors and put it up as you would a picture frame). Really nice quality, not cheap feeling.

If you are debating wether or not a screen is going to benefit your picture, it does. it makes the picture pop and is a nice touch to finish the room. It's also really fun to hook your laptop up to it and share internet videos and computer presentations with a group of friends.

For the person on a budget (or even not) this screen gets the job done. Images look great and the product is quick and simple to install.
