Music to Have a Nice Day!, August 11, 2002
I am a sucker for pop 70's music. Perhaps it is because of childhood, remembering when we heard most of the hits on AM not FM, or maybe it's a reminder of blasting my radio in a parking lot practicing my roller skating moves.Never the less, should you feel a hankerin for those good old innocent, and mostly cheeky 70's pop hits, this is the best compliation I have seen for a very reasonable price. I liked this set in particular because it really runs the gambit on 70's pop, good and bad. There are about 3 "filler tracks" on here, but for three CD's, that's not bad at all. Most of the compliations have 2 or 3 songs on the disc that you adore and the rest...throw away. There's a little something for everyone here, you have your cheesy soft rock hits like "Magnet and Steel" and "Wildfire" (go ahead, admit, you love it) as well as some hard rockin "Free Ride" and the ever popular "More than a Feeling", but for good measure they thre in some disco and some funk. Dust off them skates and get our your rainbow suspenders..it's time to roll!
