Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: 72 Names of God: Meditation Deck (Misc. Supplies)
I will admit - I do not have the book, but I have strongly contemplated purchasing it. I was actually about to purchase the book when I saw "meditation deck" in the list of search results and was immediately drawn to it. I read the one and only review that was listed (at the time of my purchase) and knew it was for me. The fact that Yehuda Berg tells you upfront - try it, if it works, use it...if not, don't says something about his character in my opinion. He is not telling you that you must give up everything in your life to use this system.
I purchased this deck along with "The Hebrew Alphabet" by Edward Hoffman and the "Essential Zohar" by P.S. Berg. I read and learned to write the Hebrew alphabet before I actually began using the cards which I feel has greatly helped because I actually have a basic understanding of each of the letters as well as the "non-technology" view of them. I love the design of the cards--it is very clean, crisp, and modern and the images are splendid. The letters of the Hebrew alphabet even have a modern feel, but they do not loose their quality, meaning or power. I've only used the cards for 3 days and even my family has noticed a difference. The very first day I received the package, I opened up the deck to look over the cards and get a feel for them and a few cards "jumped" out at me (hard to explain) and I took out "finish what you start" and that became my card for the day. I set it aside from the deck and meditated a bit on it and carried it with me. At the end of the day, I was truly astonished; I had finished "The Hebrew Alphabet" in one sitting (although it's a short book, this is very rare for me to do, I have not finished a book in one sitting in the last 10 years - not even the short ones under 100 pages). I finished my layout/design in one sitting--it seemed that my ideas flowed seamlessly from my mind to my computer--another rarity. It seemed that everything I set myself to accomplish that day was done. That night I truly had to sit down in my bed and ponder for a moment who I was and what the body snatchers did with me. Even my family was set back by this! I can go on forever about the things that have happened to me in my short time using the cards - but I don't want to take up too much of your time. But I know at a core level, these cards are quite beneficial to me and feel they can be quite beneficial to anyone who is open and receptive to using their energy. As Yehuda Berg would put it - you don't have to believe me, try it and if it works, continue...if not, stop. :)

Not bad,
By A Customer
This review is from: 72 Names of God: Meditation Deck (Misc. Supplies)
The deck works for me better than the book of the same name that I purchased last year. And as for the "Essential Zohar" book, forget that book. I read something in it last year that I completely disagreed with, and since then, have gotten rid of it. However, not all Kabbalah is bad. I spent hours flipping through the cards in the deck and several did "jump out at me" and put me in a particular state of mind. Others, currently, had no effect. In particular two cards, together with the design and verbage, put me in a positive determined state of mind ("YUD YUD LAMED", and "RESH ALEPH HEY"). A state of mind that I prefer to be in, and am rarely in it. So thanks Mr. Berg.

This 'pack of cards' is very interesting to have with you at all times as there is always a helping hint in the pack for whatever situation you are in.
One side has a title and a 3 letter name, the other a more in-depth explanation and the same name.

Rabbi Yehuda Berg, the author of "The Power of Kabbalah," which is a "must read," has developed a meditation deck - - "72 Names of God," which you can use on a daily basis to "pull" yourself out of the depths of depression, unhappiness and what he calls "garbage." Berg explains the 72 names of God - - each containing three letters, their uses and their origins. It's probably one of the best self-help tools out there, and I've tried them all!

I use these cards everyday. I shuffle the deck and select on of the "72 Names" to work on each day. This item is a must for your kabbalah collection.
