This is a great TV for the price. I paid $350 at another store that rhymes with chest guy. The picture is sharp, plenty of hookups, light, you can wall mount it if you want(needs separate bracket), easy menu setup. The only problem I have is the remote control is not 'code compatible'. That means you can't program your cable box remote to control the tv's volume. There are no remote codes for this tv. It's stupid that RCA did this with this TV. I am buying a Logitech Harmony remote that can learn off of the tvs remote to control the volume. Other than that, I love the tv and you can't beat the price.

THIS T.V IS GREAT I REALLY LOVE IT FOR THE PRICING TOO I WISH I CAN BUY ABOUT LIKE 4 OF THESE IT HAS A HDMI PORT THAT IS REALLY GOOD I USE THIS T.V FOR MY COMPUTER ALSO GREAT FOR VIDEO GAMES AS WELL !!!!!!!!

I've owned this set for 2 years now. the biggest problem is getting it on. RCA is chinese cheap. The speakers are trash.

We originally bought a tv to replace a smaller 19 inch tv. We bought a new tv a 24" from an electronics store that is a nationwide chain. It was their store brand. I bought a 24" tv mainly to use for video wii. We plugged that tv up and it immediately got hot. We took it back to the chain where we got it. Also, we are using antenna hookup and we only got 2 stations. We had just replaced another tv that had burned out that we were getting 40 channels on with an antenna and we replaced that one with a Sony. So I thought why not replace the smaller tv too. Well to make a long story short after many trips toe the big chain electronics store we gave up and went to a major retailer. Our other tv was an RCA and we had kept it for 14 years. I originally wanted a smaller tv but couldn't afford anything else at the electronics store. I went into the big box store and found this set. It has been fabulous. We are getting channels we never got before. I also get 40 plus channels with the antenna. WOW. I am impressed.

This TV is ok, good video quality, and sound is ok at normal volume levels. BUT, if you want to listen to the sould at low volume levels it is very very poor. Tested two units sent both back - Tiger Direct was good - refunded all and sent shipping labels. We bought this one because it was one of the only of its type with a headphone jack ( sould is very poor at low volume throught the headphone too.)

This 32" set has a great HD picture. I have had it for about a year and have had no issues. I put this picture above and at less cost (paid $350) than the panasonic viera 32" after watching both for extended times. The base was a little hard to attach on mine but that was a one time setup. The picture quality is what I was most concerned about and this one is very sharp. As people say you can't tell the difference from 720 vs 1080 on a tv this size and i would have to agree.

Excellent TV with a great picture once you purchase the hdmi cable of course. Don't spend a lot for that hdmi when they have them here for 19 cents a piece for the hdmi 1.3b 1080 cables. Anyways I like the sound, the picture, easy to navigate menu, menu options, & construction of unit. However I really have to say I am completely disgusted that RCA couldn't have offered a better remote than this crappy non universal piece of junk that is so limited to what HDTV's and DVD players you can run with it. I have a Dish Network DVR 500 and their remote won't control the TV, nor will this remote handle any features at all for Dish Network. RCA went for years upon years keeping their TV codes about the same even when the generations of newer TV's came along that old set of remote codes on your RCA remote from 10 years ago worked on 1 year old TV's. If you're like me and get pissy having to set your dish network remote down just to pick up this sets remote and change the volume than skip this TV altogether. Shame on you RCA for degrading your universal remote and not using the same TV set (IR) code demands, and shame on Dish Network for not having a capable remote for newer code demands like this set has. Otherwise great TV for the price, but as you can tell I hate having to run 2 remotes just for volume+/-, mute, power on/off, etc. Buy this TV you might as well add one of those fancy learning universal remotes as well, but we shouldn't have to. That's why I took the 5th star away.
***UPDATE=Was 4 stars, now only 1 star rating from me. Had this for 2 days and because of lines through the screen which is a known issue RCA's website has a BIN File fix that can be put onto your USB flash drive. Well My TV that I have only had 2 days has a faulty circuit board and the USB port is DEAD thanks to the circuit board. So what was 4 stars is now only 1 star and I still am mad that the TV is so against universal remotes handling simple features that I no longer recommend this to anyone. RCA has offered to fix the USB issue but should another issue arise I'm sure I can get a better LCD TV that's more friendly with standard universal remotes, because it's just not right to have a bad circuit board the day it arrived and no one should have to buy the learning universal remotes considering my Dish Network remote has been superior for every device I have ever needed in the past (20+ different devices/manufactures). Don't buy, unless you just want a huge monitor for your PC.
*********UPDATE #2= Finally RCA fixed the circuit board however with all of the hoops I had to jump through just to get RCA to live up to it's warranty I WILL NEVER AGAIN BUY AN RCA PRODUCT. No one should ever have to go through that much trouble on a defective product under warranty. SHAME ON YOU, RCA FOR TRYING TO SHAFT ME LIKE THAT!!!!!!!!! I would highly recommend anyone out there to not buy an RCA because of their customer support on defective products under warranty.
