Offering sound, heat, and gentle massage, this soft foam neck rest soothes and relaxes while cushioning your neck at the office or during plane rides and car trips. The unit can be set for sound only, heat only, massage only, or any combination. Eight different natural sounds are available: birds, ocean waves, heartbeat, summer night, brook, California coast, rain forest, and waterfall. Use the volume dial to control sound levels on the speakers built into the massager.

The massager measures 13 inches high by 11-1/2 inches wide and adjusts to fit with a strap. Embedded in the massager are four magnets. Some believe magnets have healing properties; others don't--but they're safe unless you're pregnant or using a pacemaker. This doesn't even deserve 1 star. This supposed "relaxation" gadget was a complete waste of time and money. It had NO HEAT as advertised and the vibration just left my ears itching. (...) Instead of relaxing, it has increased my stress level 150%!! (...)

Just as Cynthia Fuben complained in her review, this neck massager produces no heat. The subtle vibration is pleasant but will not relax the tensed neck muscles without heat. Nice ad but poor performance. I suggest you look for a product that actually provides the elements that are advertised on the box. There are products in the marketplace that actually do what they claim, so I am going to return this product and find one that actually produces heat AND has a real vibrating mechanism in it. BEWARE THE WORD "GENTLE VIBRATION" !!!

Like all products this one expects a little intelligence from the owner. In order to use the heat you have to push the heat button right next to the massage button. The heat was enough to almost cause me to shut off the heat. The massage was enough to feel it throughout my neck and shoulders. I use this unit in combination with a shiatsu massage chair and it is great.
Almost a complete body massage. I also use a foot massager at the same time. Twenty minutes and I'm ready to roll!
