I have been eating Jane Parker Fruit cakes for years. I am yet to find another fruit cake that is near the fruit cake as Jane Parker Fruit cakes. To me the Jane Parker Fruit Cakes are the best in the world. They are so moist and full of nuts and fruit. Can't be beat. If you have not tried Jane Parker Fruit cakes try one and you will agree with me.

My dad, in his 80s now, retired from the A&P when they still had stores all over the south. We had one of these cakes every Christmas when I was growing up... difficult since money was scarce. Along with the oranges and uncracked mixed nuts, which we found in our stockings and received only at Christmas-time, this fruitcake provides an explosion of Christmas food-memory in my mouth. I purchased one for my father this year, & only took the tiniest of tastes, since it is his to enjoy. Watching his face as he bites into this cake is amazing. It is just like we remember it. Thank you for bringing it back! You made another Christmas memory.

Jane Parker fruitcake has been an American holiday tradition for almost 80 years.

These fruitcakes are made with over 2/3rds fruit and nuts, and are moist, flavorful and so delicious with Eight O'clock coffee.

If you live near a Great A&P store, Super Fresh, or Waldbaums, buy them there and you'll be glad you did.

Each bite gets you into the holiday spirit.

Online you can order them at the following site:

I HAVE ORDERED IT THIS WAY FOR THE LAST FEW YEARS. I HOPE I CAN ALWAYS GET IT THIS WAY. IT IS THE SAME DELICIOUS CAKE THAT I REMEMBER FROM YEARS AGO. My grandmother introduced me to Jane Parker Fruitcakes when I was a child. There is nothing as heavenly as the smell of a freshly opened fruitcake sitting on the kitchen counter. It brings back fond memories, and I am never disappointed with the cakes I have ordered over the Internet the last few years - they always taste just the way I remember. Like others have stated, there were some years that went by when Jane Parker cakes could not be found in the midwest, so it was a very sad time. To those people who think that fruitcakes are a joke, they have obviously never tasted a Jane Parker cake. I always buy an extra one that I freeze and enjoy the rest of the year - just like my grandmother used to do.

This Jane Parker Fruitcake is the best in the world! I grew up eating them in North Carolina 40+ years ago until A&P stores moved away. I tried other brands, they weren't even close. Two years ago I searched the net and discovered Amazon sold them. O happy day! I buy 4 or 5 at a time for Christmas gifts to special family members. I only wish they were for sale all year long. But I buy an extra and put it in the freezer for later in the year. The product is just as good as I remember from years ago, and the order turn around time is very speedy. I very glad Amazon carries this fruitcake, don't ever stop selling it! I suggest you buy the largest one (72 oz.), it's the best deal, (more cake for the $).

My family grew up on Jane Parker Fruit Cake. Many people frown or make a face when you make mention of Fruitcake~~~ but Jane Parker is the best.....

We have just cut the fruitcake and I must say the flavors are all there. My only complaint would be the fact that the pecans were quite limited. In the past, the top of the fruit cake was completely covered with those large nuts. We realize that the cost to prepare this cake has increased and it certainly is passed on to the consumer.

Don't skimp in the next batch ~~~
