5.0 out of 5 stars 75 Years of Pontiac:The Official History(2000,Hardcover,John Gunnell), April 15, 2011
This review is from: 75 Years of Pontiac (Hardcover)
I would have like to have seen a more Bigger Hardcover given that it was at the time for the now defunct(sadly)Pontiac Brand the 75th Anniversary,Yet GMC 's Anniversary book by Krause gets a Bigger Book Size,Other than that and some misspellings and errors, including a small mention on the Smokey and The Bandit film having a "Peterbuilt"(It's Peterbilt, and There was no Peterbilt in the 1st but a Kenworth,in the 2nd A GMC,and in the 3rd a Peterbilt along with the Trans-Ams,no pictures on those cars only the first movie.)There are no pictures just mention of the Mclaren Grand Prix's,while there is a plethora of Pictures,(there is still not enough for me)sometimes one corresponding picture is on the previous page and you read about it in the next. Also the Famous "Grey Ghost" or Gray Ghost GTO that Ran Briefly in Trans-Am is not shown or Mentioned. However, A lot of Racing Coverage mainly Nascar, some Fiero GTP from IMSA/GTU,The Hot Shot Powerboat powered by a Fiero Engine, some concept cars(Ugly ones including the one that turned into production The Aztek).A Chapter on Bonnevilles,A Chapter on Firebird.A Decent book, and the only Complete(Up until 2000 that is,So No Solstice is in there)Book on Pontiac and worth reading and having if you like Pontiac.

Thanks, Pontiac, for having your 75th anniversary the same year that my brother bought one! This was a fun gift that he displays in his living room along with his driving trophies.
