Reliable winching performance for work or play
Sealed for Quality and Assurance:

Powersports winches see a wide variety of conditions including water, mud, dirt, and sand. The best way to keep these elements out of your winch is to buy a product that is well sealed. WARN places eight specifically designed seals at locations where water and debris are prone to enter, allowing the winch to operate at its peak performance. This helps ensure that the WARN RT25 winches are the most weather-resistant, reliable, and best-performing winches you can buy.

I was very happy with the price. $[...] plus a $50.00 Warn rebate brings the price down to $[...] for a new Warn winch delivered to my door. This winch is complete with everything you need (contactor, rollor, switch, wires) except for mounting plates.

Bought this to replace a broken winch on a used Polaris Big Boss 6x6 I recently purchased. Works great for recovery and occasional log skidding. The freespooling release is a definite improvement over the older models.

Bought this winch to go on my 2009 Yamaha Rhino - have rugged woods/terrain on my property, and have been able to pull myself out of every rough spot I couldn't drive out of with no problems. For the price, should have come with the wireless remote. However, this winch does everthing I've needed, be it pull my rig out of tight spots or pull trees out of the woods.

We purchased the RT25 and Warn mounting kit for a Yamaha Grizzly 700. The installation instructions for both the winch and mounting kit are Top 10 poor - they are difficult to follow, have few usable illustrations, and leave out key information. Particularly bad were the instructions for a key safety item for tying in the controller into the ATV power; the first instruction called for using a wiring sub-harness from Yamaha that does not exist.. That said, there is good information online - especially try this forum entry, which has photos of key steps and information: [...]. I wish we had found this forum earlier; we could have saved an hour in which we puzzled through the same problems and, fortunately, reached the same answers. So why the four-star rating? This Warn winch - and all of its sister products - have stellar reputations and a great record of durability. PS. Purchase the mounting kit (which I had difficulty finding except through Amazon) as the RT25 does not mount directly to the Grizzly.

When I go offroading I use Warn winch products. I've been using Warn products for the past 11 years and they never let me down on the trail. I had a Warn 9.5ti winch on my 1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ that gave me some motor problems at home, but Warn had the winch fixed like new. This Warn winch is built very well, and bolts right up to my Warn 60272 winch mount on my 2000 Yamaha Big Bear 400 4x4. The yellow and blue winch wires need to be just a little bit longer, but they work. I've only used it once, but the RT25 worked flawlessly. If you don't have a recovery kit, get the Warn 69222 kit. It is a great addition to this winch, and makes things a lot easier. Like all Warn products, it was packed very well. Go prepared!

This replaced an older Warn winch that had been used for years trouble free. That unit was exposed to extreme temps and had been under water many times. I expect the same from the RT25

This Warn winch fit in my KFI bracket as advertised. You do need to follow all instructions as they are written for both the mount and winch. The only slow down I had was connecting the switch to the right wire on the ignition switch. You do need a circuit testing light to select the right wire.
