As expected, the device feels solid and is constructed with materials which tend to lead to the perception this drive can take some abuse - if necessary. The software is actually better thought out than what I have used from Western Digital and Seagate in many aspects. I backed up 250 GBs of data - sadly on a system with only USB 2.0, which went without a hitch. The only issue I have with the device is the software.

It looks for Microsoft e-mail and web browsing products only. What about users of Mozilla, Google, Apple, Opera and other company products? Fortunately for Mozilla products there is Mozbackup, which can be stored in the Documents tree of the user and backed up that way.

Other than this short-sightedness in the software, the device itself performs as it should - by allowing me to backup exactly what I intend and not a bunch of hidden system files I don't.
