I use it in small bathrooms approximately 6 by 8 feet and it is more than adequate. It is max output of 1500 watts with a high/low switch and an adjustable thermostat to vary the shutoff temperature. So far I have had good service from it into the second winter.
It doesn't have specific temperatures on it, just marks on the dial, and two speeds for the fan. I haven't cranked it all the way up, because I just use it to keep my laundry room at a reasonable temperature so the pipes don't freeze and it isn't uncomfortable. I keep it on the second mark, out of probably 8 or 10, and it keeps the 120 square foot room reasonably heated.
Stationary. Its a great heater when you want to save energy as well. Say you have a large room and its a cold winter night. First of all, this heater will have a hard time heating a large room, so you need to buy two of these bad boys. You can set this heater to a certain setting to maintain a comfortable room temperature. My second one is on its way from amazon. I plan on placing two in my room, both in even spots in the room. P.S. I have a 1 bedroom house that does not have a door that connects the bedroom to the living room.
It automatically sets for me when i set the right knob on the dots & leave it there without turning it completely off. This automatically alerts the thermostat to turn the heater back on as it's timed.
