I was told to expect great things from the creator of this addon, Captain Sim, i was not disappointed when i installed this aircraft and took it for a test flight.

As mentioned in my title, this is my first payware addon for my flight simming. after finding out that this addon was being sold on amazon for half the price as what is listed on the Captain Sim website, i had to pull the trigger.

Before i purchased this, i was not satisfied with the freeware 757's being offered for Flight Simulator X, i think all of them were converted from FS2004 use, and none of them had a virtual cockpit for FSX. I am getting used to flying from the flight deck rather than flying from spot view from behind the aircraft and virtual cockpit is really useful.

This dvd comes with versions for both Flight Simulator 2004(fs9) and Flight Simulator X(FSX), comes packaged in a convenient plastic dvd case like most games being sold these days(i thought it would arrive in a cardboard ox like the older games did)
This dvd also comes with a 100 page manual that describes instruments.

This addon includes the 757-200 with 2 types of engines and winglet options as well as the -300 with 2 engine types and winglets as well as a freighter version.

one last thing to note is that by purchasing this product, you will have to use the support on the Just Flight site, currently, Captain Sim's requires a order number to log on to its site and you do not get this number when purchasing this product here on amazon or from Just Flight's website(there is an update patch available for this version on the just flight website)

This game is for people who have a desire for flying the real thing. It will be a little complex for the basic flight sim gamer but for us pilots it is the best flight sim I have played, right down to CAT 3 landings and FMC programing. The wing graphics are also a bonus and the freighter loading is incredible.

Have bought many FS add-on but this is one that is quite well developed and complete.

Installed without problems and run out of the box.

I purchased this as an addition to some other 757/767 simulations I already have and it's OK. Some of the FMS/CDU functions do not work like that are supposed to and the sim has a few glitches in the flight model. The real big disappointment is that all of these issues have been fixed with an update patch...that is not included with the DVD nor is is available online...unless you purchase the entire program again from the actual software publisher.

The DVD delivered is out of date software and the seller (JustFlight) does not offer any upgrade patch like the actual publisher (CaptainSim) does and they will not let anyone have access to the patch unless you repurchase directly from them.

I installed this add on following the directions and I'm extremely disappointed. All of the 757 models look great, but the autopilot only allows you to set a speed, nothing else. In addition to this, I wasn't able to get the Attitude Indicator display to work- very disappointing. I've tried several different things and I can't get any of these problems fixed.

If any of you have had the same problem and found a way to fix it, please let me know by commenting, otherwise, I'll need to return this product.

I have a new and very fast system with lots of RAM. This program slowed down my simultaor (FSX) so bad that it didn't work at all. I downloaded both of the SP1 and SP2 packs and it still did not work. Looks as though it would be great but didn't work on my system...

This add-on was hard to figure out. The manual is extremely poor, warnings kept going off in the plane, I have sold the add-on since.
