5.0 out of 5 stars Works like it suppose to!, November 16, 2011

Sometimes when shooting in bright sunlight and wanting to use a f1.4 or f2.8 you have to too much light to meter correctly and even at 1/8000 shutter speed you can't shoot wide open. To correct this using a Neutral Density filter enables you to do so. It works just fine!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great ND Filter for Special Photographs, November 2, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This B&W 6-stop neutral density filter helps you make pictures of softly flowing waterfalls and streams such as those you see from professional photographers. By reducing the amount of light let through your lens, it allows you to set longer exposure times (with a tripod, of course) with wider apertures. The B&W filters are top-quality, very nicely made, and thread smoothly on and off your lens as needed. Highly recommended!

5.0 out of 5 stars B+W the Standard for the Industry of ring-filters, July 3, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This product lives up to its industry reputation of a fine crafted lens filter. There are no color imbalances, such as unintentional warming (cooling). The filter cost more than most cheaper brands; however, in this industry you get what you pay for.

This filter will last you many years of diligent service. This filter is durable. Cheaper filters will fail you. If you are a serious photographer and looking for ring (rather than block filter) than look no further.

B+W polarizers are also an excellent choice.

The camera I use is a Canon 5D Mark 2 on EF 28-70mm, or EF 70-200mm.

Cheers, the General.
