The new release of 10 Bon Jovi albums is nice for the consumer who already doesn't own the 1999 Bon Jovi Remasters CD's. Some extra live tracks, new booklets and access to some bonus material on bonjovi.com aren't enough reason for me to "Rebuy" these Cd's. The 1999 Remasters sound alot better and have song lyrics included! A money- making ploy no doubt, gotta love it!

If you've been a BJ fan your whole musical life, but BJ's lifespan is longer than your music life, you may as well own all their "older" albums too and not just the new ones.
FOr me, I owned absolutely everything from Slippery When Wet until The Circle, so when they announced the "Special Editions" of the first 10 albums, it made sense for me to buy the 2 that I didn't already own - Bon Jovi and 7800 Fahrenheit.
I already knew most of the songs, being such a die-hard fan since 1986, so it was fun to have them to listen to. The live tracks at hte end of the CD are fun, especially if you enjoy live music, and if you've seen BJ in concert you know how fantastic they are live.
If you already own the original version of this, I wouldn't run out and buy the special edition.
YOu get a cute little "VIP Pass" in the CD jacket, and a code that allows you to see content on their website from the vaults, but not worth spending all that money for IMHO.

What can i say, i have all the almbums except for this one and it came on special edition and i totally loved it!
