poor quality - didn't last one winter,

This review is from: 7A.M. ENFANT "Blanket 212 Evolution" Extendable Bunting Adaptable for Strollers (Baby Product)
I was thrilled to buy this, and I thought it was a genious idea, especially since my son won't wear a hat or gloves no matter how cold outside. It works like a polar-expedition sleeping bag, and it fit my Phil & Ted's stroller perfectly. Baby was snuggled, warm and comfy in the worst weather, without having to wear bulky winter outerwear. For 2 months I couldn't have been happier, even though one of the adjustable pulls broke almost the first day I used it. However, once the hood zipper broke in the middle of winter, this $200 product became as useful as the $40 JJ Cole Bundle Me. I'm willing to pay the price for a high-quality item, but if 7am Enfant is going to charge as much as a North Face polar expedition sleeping bag, they should deliver the same quality. In the end I was terribly disappointed and felt like a sucker for shelling out so much money for a shoddy product.

Helped Me (and My Little One) through a New England Winter,

I bought this despite the bad reviews and I wanted to wait until I had really used it before I wrote a review to see how well it would hold up. Now that winter is coming to an end, I have to say that I wouldn't have wanted to go through the winter without the 212 blanket. Walking and subway are my primary form of transportation and my 1yr old son and I walk about one mile home together from daycare every evening so there is no way to avoid my son being out in some cold and windy weather. I've used the 212 Blanket every day for the last 3 months and I've been very happy with it. I did have a minor issue with the quality (there is a pacifier strap on the inside and the snap broke the first time I tried to use it) but other than that the Blanket is still like new. I have a lighter weight stroller blanket (JJ Cole Urban Toddler Bundle Me - Stealth) for the spring and fall but I needed something more substantial that would stand up to a New England winter. With the 212 Blanket my son is always warm no matter how cold or windy it is. It also does a great job of keeping him dry if there's light snow. The convenience factor of this product is huge. When I pick my son up from daycare I don't have to worry about getting him to sit still long enough to wrangle him into a snow suit. I put him in the stroller and zip up the blanket 212. If it's really windy or cold then I'll also add a hat. If I did a coat too it would be too warm most of the time, although I have added a coat once or twice when the weather was extreme. If it's especially windy, I find my son will pull up the blanket to cover more of his face but most of the time we walk around and all you see is a little baby's face poking out of the stroller. I like that it's an adjustable size so I can keep him warmer by keeping it snug. The straps are very adjustable so I imagine it would fit most strollers well. There are extra velcro attachments on the underside to help it stay put on the stroller. I use it with my BOB Revolution and the only "fit" problem is that the sunshield on the stroller sometimes gets in the way of the hood of the blanket when I'm putting my son in or taking him out. I could probably get around that if I unzipped and re-zipped the hood while putting my son in the stroller, but it's not irritating enough to warrant the extra effort. In the next several weeks I'll probably be putting the blanket 212 into storage. I can't imagine having gone through this winter without our blanket 212 and I look forward to using it again next winter.

I bought a 212 bunting bag to beat the winters in the city. It didn't come with the extension piece so I contacted the company. They did not get back to me and only after several attempts did I finally get a response. They said that there was nothing that they could do, nothing available, not even to purchase- too bad so sad in other words... no help, no suggestions. I rate a product/ company on their customer service and these definitely get a thumbs down.

For the price you pay, this product SHOULD not breakdown after initial wash,

Alright...before buying this product I googled to see if there were any reviews...only found a few. One that made me think twice about purchasing it was a mother reported that the plastic drawstring fasteners were not very durable and broke (it didn't even make it through the first winter season). I went to the specialty store to look at the bunting bag and definately 7 AM Enfant put all their bucks into the actual sleeping bag and not the fasteners. How I know this, well I bought it and washed it as per instructions prior to using it and 4 out of the 6 plastic fasteners curved / bent so I had to bring it back to the store to exchange for another one. This time I decided to not put it into the dryer. After the initial wash, I pulled out the bag and there was small tear in the seam of the bottom of the bag. I have not been able to as of yet use this bag because I can't seem to get past the washing stage. My husband is bringing this bag back to the store for the 2nd time round and it hasn't even yet been used! I really do believe that this bag will keep my baby warm and am willing to give it one more try (3 time is a charm). If it doesn't withstand the washing stage again then I will not keep this product and will not look at another 7 AM Enfant product. For the amount of $$$ it costs, so far it does not reflect a high end product!!!!

I got this for my 8 months old son who hates all the snowsuits. This is so comfortable for him. We live in New York and right now its the middle of February and I put on him when we go out a pair of warm pants. long sleeve onesie, warm fall like jacket, booties, hat and we are ready to go. The material is great, the look is awesome, very practical. When we go to the store I open it up so he will not sweat while I do my shopping and close him up before going back out to the cold. Very satisfied with this product.

This blanket is excellent so far. It fits perfectly on our stroller (an older model Maclaren) and my 13 month old loves it. It looks nice and washed & dried well in a commercial washer. It seems warm enough for an NYC winter and I love that it has the extensions to make it last longer. We don't use the stroller much because we wear her, but our nanny uses it regularly and also loves it. I think it was worth the $.

i bought this for my 9 month old to use while he's in the stroller and i'm running. minnesota can get cold in the winter, so i needed something that would keep him extra warm. i've only had the chance to use the blanket 212 evolution twice, but both times (with the temperature being around 30 degrees) he has stayed very warm. i didn't find it difficult to use, install in the stroller, or adjust the size/length. as of right now, i am very happy with my purchase.

disappointed,
This review is from: 7 A.M. Enfant "Blanket 212 Evolution" Extendable Baby Bunting Adaptable For Strollers, Metallic Gray (Baby Product)
This bunting will do its job and will probably be warm and snuggly for the little one.
I am returning it as I dont think it is worth the price: 1) It does not look as stylish in person as on pics. Very mediocre, OK look. (I got gold color and it is more of a dirty brown) 2) My daughter is not 2 yet (slim, quite tall) and length wise I dont think it will work till preschool age, one winter max and she will outgrow it. Again, for the price it is not worth it, sorry..

This is my second 7am for my second child and man are these the best! They are always toasty and warm when I pull them out no matter the weather outside!
Also the design got better this go 'round! Can't recommend this enough if you live in a city or spend a lot of time outside with your stroller.
