Definitely worth it for true fans of the game,
By A Customer
This review is from: The 7th Guest: A Novel (Hardcover)
Well, after a lot of searching, I finally got a hold of this book, and it was certainly worth all of the $15 I paid. The novel explains many things that were never made clear in the game: Stauf's past, the motives of the guests, and the fates of Temple and Knox. Not Newberry prize quality, but if you liked the game, this novel is definitely worth a look.

Trapped,

like many of the characters in this novel it is very possible to be trapped in this book. You absolutely cannot put it down towards the end. I grew up playing the game never realizeing it was based on a book until I chanced across "Unidentified", with the words from the author of " The 7th Guest". I highly recommend this to everyone. It is on the short side, so for those of us with busy schedules it is the perfect just before bedtime book.

Wow, this book met all of my expectations. It is well written and the atmosphere is just awesome. It might be because I am a fan of the game, but this book is darned good! If you liked the game, but couldnt follow the story because of the messed up scenes, this book is very good at explaining everything. The characters are interesting and our favourite Doll and toymaker Henry Stauf actualy get a few chapters about himself before diving into the main story. I say this is a brilliant book of a brilliant game! Read this! /Henrik Sigeman

Not that bad of a book,

I'm a big fan of the PC game "7th Guest" and the sequel "11th Hour." Well since I hadn't played the game in a while I thought i'd order the book and read it to refresh the story. Well it does a good job telling you about the characters but the story seemed rushed and confusing at some parts. If you are a fan of the game get this book. If you've never played it, I still recommend it. Enjoy

A great game, A great book.,

The ending is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. It was a bit choppy and through me for a loop. But it was a fun read. If you got into the video game, you will really like this book too.

My friend read this book, and she says it's great!,

This is freaky. My friend hates to read. Suddenly, she reads this book, and she can't stop reding! It's amazing! Books can't get any better than that! As far as what I've read, I think it's bizarre. There is a lot of killings. But the money you would spend would be worth it! If my friend can't stop reading, this HAS to be a great book! I hope I can find it somewhere!

I found the 7th guest novel at an disclosed location for three dollers. I loved the game and thought I might as well read the book. I was depressed. If you have the hint book read the novel out of there. It is much better and does not cost as much. In short It is not worth the money

Not Very Good,
By "kilain" (Houston, TX) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The 7th Guest: A Novel (Hardcover)
I found this book to be all right but it was poorly written. The book seemed too short and rushed. The word usage was terrible making me believe that the author is not much of a talent. The only thing that interested me about it was that I played and enjoyed the game and the book refreshed the story for me. I do not recommend this for anyone unless they enjoyed the game.

I hate reading, especially if it's a book with no meaning. One day I went shopping with my dad and I saw this book on a shelf picked it up and started reading it inside the store cause it loked so interesting. I started reading it and right from the beggining it was spectacular. I of course begged my dad to get it and I still haven't finished reading it. I'm telling you it is a great book!!
