Book Description

September 2004
8 Days is the riveting story of a not-so-distant future when four brilliant young scientists begin the process of cleansing humanity by systematically releasing the chemical X-86 on cities around the world. Their mission? To destroy the earth's undesirables over the course of eight days, leaving a chosen few survive and rule the planet. What they don't count on is demented, power-hungry, 60-year-old CEO Tony Andrews who has his own plan - and weapons - to dominate the world. Neither they nor Tony can stop the chemical's survivors from coming together to face their uncertain future. The survivors who have been drawn to Joplin, Missouri, have the desire and instinct, along with the visions of eight-year-old Jessie, to guide them and begin to rebuild with what little is left.

5.0 out of 5 stars WOW!, February 8, 2005
This review is from: 8 Days (Paperback)
WOW! I got so into it that I couldn't wait to see how it ended...all this from a person who is NOT into Sci-Fi. I loved it. Man, the connections I had. Besides the obvious ones with the Missouri connections, I was born in Nacogdoches, Tx and when I play my ipod in my car, I have to tune it to 92.5 for it to transmit. You did a great job and I can't wait for your next project. Keep it up.

8 Days was an absolute thriller which involved you emotionally with the characters. I am impressed that this is the first book published by this author, as it appears to be so advanced in its structure and story. The story brings into reality the depth of destruction that could truly happen in our world along with the reality of how we possess such powers to do so. This story is riveting in its display of characters and structure of the actual storyline. What an impressive read, I cannot wait for the sequel.
