Sound great, especially for the price!,

I've owned mine for about 6 months now. You really can't beat these for price/sound. I create songs and send them to Garage Band Dot Com and they will comment that the drummer is rather shakey, kinda the Peter Best of the group, or they may say the drums are muffled because I have them too low in the mix, but they never comment that the drums are fake. On an MP3 they sound real. The good and the bad of electronic drums which are sampled is that they have to be mixed pretty high in the song to sound right, but that a problem with electronic drums in general. So, these are not audiophile quality, but, man, they are good enough for blues and rock'n roll. Oh yes, and I beat them with sticks, and the whole unit fell on the floor once, but it keeps working.

Pad bleed and not setup for Midi,

If you try to use the dd65 for midi with superior drummer or anything like that it only half way works. The hat pedal and hat pad send the same midi number. This means that the hi hat pedal is worthless! The pads also bleed, a lot. If you hit the low time you can also hear the snare being hit. Should be sold for 50 or less, as a toy.

My sons get a good sound off it for YouTube uploads and home jams.
Would have been a better value if it came with AC power supply.
