This review is from: 802.11g Wireless WIFI PCI Adapter Card For Desktop New (Electronics)
The item arrived in just 4 days with standard shipping. The instructions were simple but thorough and made installation of the software and card easy. My wife's desktop computer was moved to another location far from the WiFi router and works perfectly with full signal levels. I highly recommend this product.

This product was the cheapest and most reasonably-reviewed I could find, so I thought I'd order it. I didn't get what I expected: something with clear instructions. Luckily, I had a friend to help me install the card (it being my first desktop wireless install) and configure my settings. The card comes with a mini-disc that does have instructions; you just have to look for them. The instructions are also in a form of Engrish, so they're not always clear. At one point I was simply instructed to choose the appropriate option, without being told how to tell which option was the right one. There's a separate file, not mentioned in the instructions whatsoever, that tells you how to do this.
Three other things. For one, the software configuration isn't friendly. I was screwing around with the Ralink Wireless settings on-and-off for several hours before I didn't have to force a connection to my wireless card each time I restarted my computer-- having to re-enter all the wireless info and my password each time. Now that I have gotten it to work, I can tell you that it's been completely reliable since. Two, when my friend was helping me, and asked for a brand name, or any kind of relevant information to the source, I had no information to give him. There is nothing helpful on the packaging or on the mini-disc that I could tell. Three, even when we deciphered instructions and downloaded files online to correct what we thought were corrupted ones on the disc, we still received an error. On a lark, we thought maybe the name was too long and decided to rename the file "Bob". "Bob" worked fine thereafter. So! Do you have computer know-how? I do, and I spent only one over-long evening messing around with this thing and trying to figure out where the instructions where and what they meant. My friend does, and despite that he can build his own custom computers, he was also stumped and baffled by this product. Do yourself a favor, spend a tiny bit more money. That way, you don't have to worry about spending all night being frustrated like I did, hunting for files and renaming everything "Bob". Two stars because the thing is still working, now without problems.

Titles says it all. If you know anything about computer you can easily put this product into the mother boards pci slot. It was a great price and the product arrived faster than stated.
