An excellent book on it's subject. I believe the book should be bought only if u have a basic understanding of assembly and microprocessors.

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally found the book I need !, July 28, 1998
This review is from: 80X86 IBM PC and Compatible Computers, The: Assembly Language Programming on the IBM PC, PS, and Compatibles, Volume I (Hardcover)
I have been searching libraries for a long time looking for an advanced and practical book on assembly programming, but with little luck. This book astonished me when I browsed and read it. It's so direct on the subject with lots of well thought of examples on the PC interfacing and practical knowledge. Its well written and shows a great experience in teaching the subject. I give it 5 stars and put my word on it. Every one can check it for themselves and see what I mean. Good job except for its high price.
