SPG makes incredible series of hard to get dance music on CD, but they never keep them going long enough. With this series, you only get 3 volumes. All 12" versions of 80s dance hits. Track times:

3. living on video (5:55) (this is the original mix--I think the remix is much better. That verision is on the compilation "Hit That Perfect Beat")

If I was to judge this CD simply on the names of the songs, it'd get a 3. Some of these songs really aren't very good. However, all of these songs appear to be the original extended 12" versions of these songs. This version of Living on Video is IMO the best version out there, and is pretty hard to find. Obsession (6:00), Rockit (5:19), and You Spin Me (8:01!) also stand out here. If you like even half of the listed songs on this CD then for the low price this is a steal.

If you went out in the eighties to where most people wore broaches and pearls and mostly black, chances are you heard these songs. You certainly did not hear some of them on the radio. For the money, this is a great chance to own some of the songs stored in the back of your subconscious with those twenty-odd madonna bracelets.
