80's soul was interesting with the sounds and creative forces that were around. these songs still sound good and have good moments and memorys attached to them still. a very diverse sounding era to say the least and very enjoyable.

If you grew up in the eighties, then you'll know that it had more than its fair share of great soul tunes. This is a small yet good sample of what soul had to offer in that decade featuring some hard to find tracks. These songs topped the R&B charts except "New Attitude" by Patti LaBelle which topped the dance charts. Jennifer Holliday's "And I Am Telling You.." was from the Broadway musical "Dreamgirls". "She Works Hard For The Money" by Donna Summer is in its long version while Lionel Richie's "All Night Long" is the single version.

If you love eighties music then you'll like most if not all the tracks in this collection.
