Six pack is a good value. These bulbs are slightly smaller than similar wattage. This makes them a very good choice for using in outside lighting fixtures.

Tried to look for this in Lowes and Home Depot, cost over $9 each. Solution: buy it from Amazon.

I bought these for price, availability and the wide flood performance. They sit well inside the 10' high kitchen ceiling cans so are far less annoying to the eyes. I put two in the pendants over the counter and here too the illumination is better than the "non-reveal" types as there is less yellow in the bright illumination. On a dimmer, I wouldn't say they are significantly different, as observed by another reviewer. I bought a six-pack and like them a lot.

I've bought GE Reveal incandescent bulbs for years because there really is a noticeable difference in the quality of the light (color) those bulb put out. Unfortunately the same thing can't be said for the Reveal halogen bulbs. I can not tell the difference between these and regular halogen bulbs, especially when the dimmer is turned down ... my kitchen is still awash in yellow light. Next time I'll save a few bucks and get standard bulbs.
