I purchased this filter a year ago and as mentioned by the previous reviewer the frame is somewhat cheaper than the original manufacturer replacement. The filter has held up with no problems, plus when you figure the savings over the original it's at least 40%. Needless to say, I just purchased my second filter for the coming year.

This was a great purchase! Instead of the plastic housing on the OEM filter, this was a very heavy duty cardboard housing with the same interior filter properties. At a 60% cost savings to me, it's a wonderful deal and it keeps my Kenmore Air Purifier working in top condition!

I was surprised with how similar this aftermarket HEPA filter is compared with the Sears brand. It was very easy to place into the purifier. Yes, as others have noted, the frame is not quite as sturdy as the Sears brand (not really sure why that matters anyway, as it just sits there); but for a $50 savings, I have no complaints!

A bit cheap and flimsy compared to Kenmore's, but all they have to do is sit in the purifier so they meet the need.

Received this filter in record time. Fits perfectly! I assume that it will work equally as well as the original filter that cost twice as much.

You can save a lot of money buying these aftermarket HEPA filters since the filter medium is true HEPA. The only downside is the quality of the frame. Instead of a solid plastic frame like the actual Sears part, this one has a cardboard frame. That is the only difference between Sears and this so I have to give it five stars because you are paying less by compromising on the frame which does not affect the performance of the filter of purifier from what I can tell.

After searching for quite some time I found this to be one of the best deals on this filter. This filter does a great job at a fraction of the cost.

Was astonished at the cost of the Sears brand replacement Hepa filter. (almost the cost of a whole new unit). Found this replacement filter for 1/2 the cost and when compared to the Sears brand filter, could not find any differences. Easy to install. It pays to shop around when it comes time to replace filters.

Fine production quality Hepa Filter. Half the price. Excellent investment. I suggest to all. Well worth the investment. Thanks again to the manufacturer.

I very excited that I was able to find a hepa filter that was an exact fit for my Sears air cleaner. Will definitely reorder when needed.
