this was an amazing book. I continue to use ideas/suggestions out of it. I make my employees more accountable because of this book.

When it comes to accountability, Linda Galindo knows what she's talking about. I've followed her work for 15 years and she knows how to make a difference in an organization. As a CEO of a digital marketing agency, I work with a strong management team that influences a diversity of creative and technical employees. These diverse personalities show accountability in different ways. Linda's book offers strong guidance on how to work with diverse team members and ensure bottom-line accountability from the top down. Great read!

The principles of accountability distilled in "The 85% Solution" are common sense. AND we still need expert (but simple) guidance to actually LIVE them in our lives. Linda Galindo delivers the goods: this books gets you started down the road of being fully accountable for your own success - even when you feel like "control" (hah!) is in someone else's hands.

I read "The 85% Solution" to have a sense of what my wife is working with. I really enjoyed it. I certainly saw critical points in my career flash before my eyes. Accountability and civility are two things that may help us survive. If we aren't accountable for our lives, our work, and our community, we lose - big time!

I especially enjoyed "Floating in We-We." You'll recognize yourself in these situations!

With several exercises, "The 85% Solution" is a pragmatic, wide-eyed help to be a good, productive, and accountable employee and, for some, a better boss. Read it!

I have been searching for practical accountability tools and I found them in The 85% Solution. I wish someone had told me about this book long ago. The author is very true to her No Nonsense, No Excuses tag line. I have found some amazing tools to use in my personal life as well as my professional life. Clear Agreements and Definition of Success - here I come!

This is a must read for ANYONE seeking to understand why they can't grasp hold of what they claim they want.
Linda Galindo's read is straightforward, with immediate application to lowering your stress, being as productive as you want to be, and more, enjoying life's journey...even while things are not working out for you.
What's best is, by adhering to what Linda is teaching us, you can breathe through it and take control.

This is a great book on making yourself and your team accountable. The book helped me to realize that I am the one responsible for my successes. I also learned it is up to me to make the necessary changes for me and my team to be successful. A great book and an easy read where you can really get a lot of great ideas on how to make it work in your personal life and business life. A must read for anyone looking to make themselves a better manager and better leader.

I recently had the opportunity to do a webinar for 30 HR business partners using Linda's Definitions for Responsibility, Empowerment and Accountability. Each person said these definitions alone make accountability crystal clear. Linda's book is easy to read, straightforward and puts accountability into its correct place. We all want more accountability, we can and do make a greater positive impact when we embrace the accountability available to us.

After reading The 85% Solution, I've since had the benefit of participating in seminars with Linda and having a one-on-one counseling session with her. Interestingly, this is all information we all *know* (re: everything you need to know you learned in kindergarten), but in today's world accountability has eroded to the point that will become clear to you after you've committed to the simple principles in The 85% Solution.

Bottom line: It works. Used as the foundation for a group or corporation, the sky is the limit.
