Really like these bulbs. The have a nice bright light, not yellow like some. Have now replaced all in our home. Seem to last a long time. Have lost count after two years. But others seem to be lasting a long time.
Hope these will as well.

I finally got fed up with some 4 or 5 year old CFL's that just stunk. Nasty yellowish light, not very bright, long warmup times. In my great room I used some Par38 and Par30 floods, but in my kitchen's vaulted ceiling I had 8 recessed cans, and have been using a normal spiral CFL. So I replaced them all with these, and was shocked at how nice my kitchen was afterwards.

They don't take forever to warm up, and they're WHITE. Used to see on the inner sides of the cans the yellow color - now everything is bright, no more yellow. They illuminate the kitchen in ways it's NEVER been, and make it a much more pleasant room to work in.

No noise, no long startup, bright light, and a good price. Can't beat that combination. I'm getting more of these in the lower wattage now for the cans in the ceilings in my hallways.

When I shop for CFL bulbs I'm usually looking for 3 things: reliability, a 6500K color temperature, and a bulb that comes on instantly at (or very near) full brightness. These are perfect. I have them in nearly every fixture in my house. One note of caution for first-time buyers of (almost) any CFL, they don't always fit in the same spaces conventional bulbs do. I've had to leave covers off of several of my light fixtures to get these to fit. The quality of the light they produce makes it well worth it for me though.
