This toaster is a replacement, of a previous TFAL toaster that i had for about 13yrs. i just started having problems with it 2 weeks ago then it finally just went out and stopped working. TFAL is a good brand that's why i bought another. i just hope it lasts as long as the other one did!! this toaster toast great, it toast evenly on both sides depending on what setting you have it on, setting 3 for us. anything lower it won't toast on both sides.after reading some of the other reviews, maybe they received a defective product, because mine works fine so far with no problem! i would recommend this toaster.

this replaced one that wore out. The design takes getting used to because it slants down in front. That allows for easier removal as does the lift lever. Our old one wore out, and we replaced it with a standard GE model. As soon as we did, everyone complained they missed the T-Fal, so I bought another.

I purchased this toaster last month and it burns on one half of one side and does not toast at all on the other half of the same side. No matter what you put in (bagels or bread), no matter what setting number, both slots do the same thing. If you look into the toaster, all the elements heat up properly, so I cannot figure out why it does not work. It toasts fast, but that doesn't matter much when it doesn't toast properly. I returned it.

After reading some of these reviews, I wasn't sure about ordering this toaster, but I am happy with it and it really looks nice in my kitchen. The angeled front is uniquely attractive. And guess what? It makes toast! Put in bread, it comes out nicely browned. That is all I wanted. With very large bread or some bagels it is not absolutely, perfectly even -- but so what? It tastes good. I'd recommend this toaster unless you are a toast perfectionist.

Great toaster for bagels/english muffins and the lever to get toast out is great.
Love it and just be sure you have enough counter space as it is bigger then the average toaster.

This is our second Avante Toaster. The first lasted many many years with kids and grandkids using it every morning. The old one stopped popping up the toast and we thought it had given us great service so we bought another.

We like this toaster because it is fairly small and fits on our kitchen counter well. It works beautifully for bagels. The push-up feature that helps grab the toast or bagels after they are done is very handy. And it has a very nice look.

We love our T-FAL Toaster. We have owned a slightly different model of this toaster in white, for a number of years. Recently, we did some remodeling in our kitchen and changed all the appliances to black. Our white toaster stood out as the only white appliance left. I went to AMAZON.com and found almost the exact toaster in black, at a very reasonable price, and placed the order. There's nothing wrong with the white one, so we moved it to our guest house. Our guests will enjoy using it now. We even recommended the T-FAL toaster to my sister and brother-in-law years back and they have enjoyed using theirs as well. This seems to be a very reliable toaster.

This is a great toaster for any price, but especially for this price. I've never had a toaster that pops up as it should, before this one. It also has a manual stop button, which is nice. I got this toaster for my second home, but I wold get it for any home.

Very pleased with toaster. Works as it should on all settings. No more burned toast!! Matches well with stainless appliances and black granite. Extremely pleased with this appliance.
