My husband shattered both his legs and this chair has been a life saver. Our place is so small his wheelchair would not fit down the hallways to the bathroom. This chair fit. This chair is strong and very high quality. It works as a bedside commode, a transport chair, a shower chair. Of all the items we had to purchase for him after his accident this is by far the best. I don't know what we would have done without it. If you have someone recovering, or in need of a multi-function chair I high recommend this one. It is very stable and does not tip, when patient is trying to move from bed to chair, etc. It wheels smoothly and the locks work well at keeping the chair secure. It arrived well packed and very quick.

Chair is great as transport to and from toilet and bedroom, as well as being a commode and shower chair. Rolls over the toilet easily and can be sat on as regular transport with the included padded seat. Drop arms add to ease of transfer. The only drawback is what everyone else has posted - the brakes are really VERY difficult to push down to lock and pop up to unlock. Have tried WD40, no luck.

Not for tall people
This chair is too short for someone 5 feet 7 or taller.
If it allowed adjustment of the leg rest to accommodate longer legs, it would be okay, but it doesn't. Read more

Users need to be aware drop arms snap out very easy even when you don't want them too! Wheel locks also hard to release.
