I was out on the market for an external DVD burner for my MacBook (which comes with a standard Combo Drive), and contemplated several (Mac Options: Apple's Internal Superdrive - $250!!! -, Apple's MBAir Superdrive - $99, works only with MBAir), and then decided to Google some options and came accross this beauty!!!

Pros:
- Fast FireWire 400 connection (bus powered, which means no cumbersome AC Adaptor to drag along)
- Slim factor, which means no bulky drive to carry around
- Lightscribe, which by itself it's a wonderful add-on to any Mac, not yet offered by Apple as an option
- Great price (considering the bundled software - Toast 8 Platinum + LaCie LightScribe Labeler 1.2 + LaCie Remote Burn 1.0
- Now I have two drives in my MacBook, which means easy CD/DVD copying.

Cons:
- Haven't found one yet!

Without FireWire there wouldn't be much to distinguish this drive from all the rest. Its fast, light, portable, attractive and doesn't need a power supply.
