Perfectly captures Cage's character's sense of alienation in the underbelly of a world completely foreign to him, while conveying the sense of alienation to the viewer as well. Takes a risk that avoids the shallow "hit soundtrack" mentality using music that's as haunting as it is challenging.

Danna conjours up something both beautiful and haunting with restrained strings next to an undercurrent of morrocan beats. It climaxes in a fury of tribal rhythms and the timeless orchestral arrangement made me weep. Buy it.

When I saw the movie i was impressed by the music...it was hipnotizing and gave the movie a great atmosphere...this soundtrack captures all that special feeling.
