I get a better than 80% success rate and that is fine with me (considering that all alternatives I found cost almost twice as much). I burn my own edited movies and some of these disks have been replayed over and over with only rare mishaps. I'm pleased, not thrilled.

I used the single layer DVDs and loved them, so I thought the DL would be fine and was very wrong. 27 out of the 50 had write errors or focus errors or something. Other brand DVDs burned fine in either single or dual layer formats and the other 23 of these 50 were fine. I searched online and found a bunch of articles about the poor quality of these DVDs, so I guess I'm not alone. Check for yourself and remember you get what you pay for. I'll be sending those 27 back to Memorex.

Must be a good game if it takes 50 DVDs @ 8.5GB each to install. Good thing terabyte hard drives are below $100 now.
