I am sure that you touched someone's life, added a sparkle to someone's day,renewed hope in someone's heart, traced a smile on someone's lip, re-inviorgated someone's faith in love and encouraged someone to stay the course. May you to continue to write, to inspire, to contribute, for you have been commissioned to be one of the few select voices of print whose message must be mandated to be heard. Anxiously awaiting your second series of books ,I have no doubt that the best has yet to come!

I read this book when it first came out, and I missed the characters soooo much that I had to read it again recently. It's a story that keeps on giving, especially when you read it over again. I am looking forward to curling up with a sequel oneday.

The cover of this novel is what enticed me to buy the book. Victor, Christian, Tyrone are men you want to alone with. i wish this book was a series on tv because everyone would be watching. You should get in touch with the producers of HBO, FX, USA or some cable netowrk and market this book to them. I Love the way you write, when is the sequeal coming out?

What a great novel. It keeps you turning the pages, I loved the piece on Domestic Violence it reminded me of where I had been. Thank you.

Wow! What a book. From one incurable romantic to another, 9 1/2 Couples is awesome. I related, agreed, and learned from all of the journal entries, as well as Jean-Paul's comments. I can't wait for the sequel to come out. This author is a brilliant writer.

What a story with lots of fireworks, I finished the book during the 4th of July Holiday, and after reading this story I started up fireworks of my own. When I read the title I couldn't believe that there would be all these couples to enjoy. But I did, and I feel in love with Dex, Victor, and Christian. A girl might have a chance if these guys are for real. I hope to see this author on Oprah one day, I would love to see the audience reaction to this outstanding novel.

Boy, do I love this book. Jean Paul is a man right out of my favorite soap opera. Not to take anything away from Dex, Victor, or Christian. But Jean Paul is some kind of fantasy. I love the passion that went into writing this book I could feel the characters come off the pages. If this book isn't getting some heavy reading done by book clubs it should be. I will be writing about 9 1/2 Couples on message boards on the west coast. A magnificent novel, well written and un-forgettable.

It's been a while since I read a book that I could not predict the content. I swore I knew these couples! One of the couples closely resembled my own life situation (reminded me of that Roberta Flack song...Killing me softly). Your book challenged what I held as truth in some of my relationships. What I discovered was a window of clarity that allowed me to see things in a whole new light. What a wonderful book.

Raw, edgy, comtemplative, thought-provoking, reflective, and real. All of the characters in the novel have a flair for telling their story so intently that you immediately feel drawn onto the pages of their lives. A series of stories skillfully woven together to both capitivate and educate the reader. A must read book for anyone interested in real life stories that might be reflective of their own lives. Bravo!

Honest, sensual, real. That's how I'd describe this book.
Frankly I had a hard time deciding if the work was fiction or not. I found so many aspects of myself and my life echoed in the lives of these characters. It's scary...but even more, it's reassuring to know that someone like Wendell Scales understands and offers hope. I'm a fan. Write more.
