This is an excellent value with a set of USB adapters that should cover most situations. However, it should be noted that the included retractable cable will not work with devices that require power from the USB port. The cable has only 2 conductors - (Data +/-), while a standard USB cable includes 4 conductors, 2 that supply the data signals, and 2 that supply the 5 Volts DC required by many devices, such as memory sticks, cameras, etc.(my USB trackball works fine). The rest of the adapters pass through all 4 signals. Add a standard Male/Female USB cable and you can't go wrong.

For the last 2 years Tiger Direct and others sold this same item under the Ultra Label for over $40. This accessory is a must for any traveler with a notebook PC and connecting electronic items. This setup has been a lifesaver and should be a part of any travelers notebook accessories. It is currently sold by Xpresstech on Amazon for under $12.00 delivered.

I carry this when I leave town, because I usually forget the connector that originally came with the device.

Great price! The adapters included in this kit will work for almost any digital device. The case is nicely made, zipper closure, and inside pocket. There is enough room in the case to carry zip drives, memory cards, etc. The retractable USB cable is a bit cheesy: it is only a two-conductor (no good for USB powered devices), and may not have adaquate shielding for USB2 signal speed. I recommend replacing it with a standard 3 foot USB2 cable, which will coil up to fit quite nicely in the case.

If you do not own a kit like this, sooner or later it's gonna be "could-a, should-a, would-a" time! Be prepared.
