I believe this to be the new medicine, I see more and more people every day embracing this wisdom with significant results. After digesting the knowledge from the book it inspired me to acknowledge the genius that is inside each one of us. Dr. Goodman teaches us the simplicity of reconnecting to our inherent gifts. She has the amazing ability to integrate ancient spiritual practices with the latest body/mind medicine research findings.

According to Dr. Goodman, unresolved emotions and toxic attitudes create internal conflict, which causes continuous stress on body systems -- and chronic stress breaks down the immune system. This is the process identified by scientists and reported in medical journals and newspapers. The following was in the New York Times (5/13/93): "Scientists have found the first evidence of an anatomical connection between the nervous system and the immune system. Nerve cell endings in the skin and white blood cells of the immune system are in intimate contact, and chemicals secreted by the nerves can shut down immune system cells nearby."

I find 9 Steps to be my a fountain of youth. My original curiosity, when I heard Dr. Goodman speak in Australia, was how to keep my body radiantly healthy and young. I was impressed that at the age of 64 she looks so young and still doesn't dye her hair. It is dark brown.

The exercises in the book trigger a peaceful knowing within me which dissolve my anxieties. I know that stress causes cancer, makes me age and is a major cause of all emotional pain, fatique and dis-ease in my life. I healed from cancer, my malignant tumors disappeared without medical intervention within 6 months of practicing self-healing. Most important is that my way of thinking has shifted in a healthy direction and I love my life.

Thankyou to Shivani for sharing her knowledge and experience through her book. Finally, the kind, loving, forgiving and positive approach I'd been looking for.(esp.from someone who had also had recurrent breast cancer)After much searching I had come to similar conclusions about healing but my ideas were vague and scattered and I didn't know how to bring them together as a whole. After reading Shivani's book I thought, Yes, this is it!! Thankyou Shivani

After I read Dr Goodmans book I started to put into practice the "daily healing routine" and "toxic attitudes" exercises as for about five years I have only had 20% of my hearing in one ear. I found after doing the exercises for just 5 days from the book my hearing improved and now have 80% of my hearing back and what a wonderful difference it makes to my life.
