KitchenAid KFP740WH 9-Cup Food Processor, White
Used & New from: $79.99
9 cup or 12 cup? I'm looking at the kitchenaid food processor and cannot decide between the 9 cup and the 12 cup. I have an old popular model and I have no idea how many cups it holds.. as you cannot fill the bowl with water to measure it as it leaks out at the stem opening.. so I don't know the difference and which I need. can anyone tell me the dimensions of the 9 cup and the 12 cup bowls? Height and width?

A
For all food processors, the capacity refers to dry, not liquid, content

There is no way the 9 cup model will hold 9 cups of liquid!!! The center post is too low. If you need 9 cups buy the 12 cup model.

It won't hold 9 or 12 cups (depending on the model) of dry crumbs. They will still spill out the center tube, once the chopper is removed!!
