This review is from: 90-97 Honda Accord Civic Fuel Pump Main Relay 90 91 92 93 94 95 96 97
If you have a Honda that was made prior to 1995 and you can't get it to start in the hot weather or it you stop at a gas station and when you come out from paying your car won't start you may need a new relay! My 1990 accord would not start after I got done with work almost every day because of the hot weather. I tried it solder the old one back tougether and broke it completely. So I bought this one off Amazon and it works GREAT!!Now I don't ever have to worry about being stranded ever again! If your Honda is having similar problem it is more than likely the main/pgm-fi relay!

Bought this fuel relay for my 92 accord and it works like it's supposed to (my car works again) and got here quickly and was half the price the local parts store wanted. Very pleased.

Good product for a good price. A piece that is crucial for my 92 Accord to stay alive for another 200,000 miles.

This part replaces the fuel relay that tends to go out in cars like mine, the 1992 Honda Accord. This tends to be the problem if after running for awhile you turn off the car then try to fire it back up only to find that it turns over then sputters and dies like it's not getting enough fuel. I noticed it especially when I would stop to get gas.
It is easy enough to replace yourself, it is installed up under your steering wheel, I think you need to pull another part out to get to it. There are plenty of instructions on how to do it on the internet for the motivated do-it-yourselfer.

Used, broken part...don't bother,
This review is from: 90-97 Honda Accord Civic Fuel Pump Main Relay 90 91 92 93 94 95 96 97
Bought one of these thinking it was a new part...WRONG! Received a used part that did not work in a "new" bag and generic box. Examined main relay unit inside case to find missing relay insulators and obvious hack job at resoldering the connections on PCB mounting.
Got the real thing at a dealer instead for another $60. |
