About the Author

He is the founder of Don Piper Ministries and is a popular speaker across the United States and abroad. He and his wife, Eva, are the parents of three grown children and live in Pasadena, Texas.

I was very disappointed in this book. It was a good read but I had beleived it would be about Pipers experiences in heaven; when actually, it was about his accident and rehabilitation. Very little was said about his time in heaven.

No matter if you believe in Heaven or not, this book has a great message (at least this was one of the messages I received from the book): you're only here once. Live life as if it was your last day, and don't sweat the "small" stuff as greater rewards await you. I found the first two-thirds of the book great to read, but the last third was a little repetitive - it doesn't take away from the book, however.

For anyone who wants to know more about what it is like to have to suffer excruciating pain and then depression, this book provides encouragement. I find that I am learning to better enjoy my life on earth because of having read this marvelous, but short book.
