About the Author

Don Piper has been an ordained minister since 1985. He has appeared on Today, The 700 Club, James Robison's Life Today, and other television and radio programs, and teaches across the United States and around the world. He and his wife, Eva, live in Texas.

Cecil Murphey has written or coauthored more than one hundred books, including the autobiography of Franklin Graham, Rebel with a Cause. A collaborator on the bestseller Gifted Hands with Dr. Ben Carson, Cecil resides in Georgia.

Don Piper has been an ordained minister since 1985. He has appeared on numerous television and radio programs and has been the subject of countless newspaper and magazine features. He is the founder of Don Piper Ministries and is a popular speaker across the United States and abroad. He and his wife, Eva, are the parents of three grown children and live in Pasadena, Texas.

For anyone who wants to know more about what it is like to have to suffer excruciating pain and then depression, this book provides encouragement. I find that I am learning to better enjoy my life on earth because of having read this marvelous, but short book.

No matter if you believe in Heaven or not, this book has a great message (at least this was one of the messages I received from the book): you're only here once. Live life as if it was your last day, and don't sweat the "small" stuff as greater rewards await you. I found the first two-thirds of the book great to read, but the last third was a little repetitive - it doesn't take away from the book, however.

Absolutely autstanding first-person story. So great I am buying more for family and friends. The follow-on book "Heaven is Real" is a tremendous source of encouragement also.
