Excellent Wheels, but Consider "Active" Model (Better Value & Looks),
By
This review is from: 90mm/84a Inline Wheels with SG-9 bearings (8 Pack) (Sports)
I'm on my 3rd set of the Rollerblade Active wheels. I get probably 800+ miles per set (on smooth & semi-smooth concrete). The 84A hardness is much better than 82A or 80A durometer, which wear out too quickly. "Active" vs "Active HP" (High Performance) models: This "Active HP" model is usually about $9 more and it has white tires (vs light gray). I prefer the cheaper Rollerblade Active 90mm Wheel Set with SG9 Bearings. See notes below. Pricing: Shop around, especially at Warehouse places specializing in Inline stuff. Low tide for the HP model is around 55 buckss. Bearings: Insanely smooth when spinning in my hand. A few were flawed, but seem to be fine once broken in on the skate. They come with spacers for 8mm axles, not the 6mm axles on my K2 skates. But I swapped in my old spacers and all is well. Notes -- "Active" vs "Active HP" models: I bought both models in December 2010. They seem identical except for tire color. Same bearings & hubs; Same durometer (84A). Same tire width and profile. Same mold marks. Same weight (4.6 oz.). Same packaging. Both say: "Speed-10, Durability-9, Control-9" The bright white tires on the HP model look real nice for the first 100 feet of skating. The Active packaging says: "Combine great performance, response, durability, speed and an improved core." The Active HP packaging says "Made with a superior quality urethane for the ultimate in speed, control and performance." The Active HP has more marketing-speak. 14 characters more!

I buy these wheels every month because i skate everyday. These are one of the best wheels around and I only paid $55 dollars. Those wheels usually retail between $75- $80 anywhere else so this was a bargain. I would definetly buy them again
