THIS IS NOT A DOCUMENTARY
Combat Reels Inc. presents a World War II research video that contains only the actual combat camera footage of the 90th Infantry Division during the Invasion of Normandy. This video is the only one of its type by providing on screen information for each segment of the 16 chapters of footage. This information, when available, provides the detachment responsible for the capture, the name of the photographer, the combat unit shown, the date, and the location of the original footage. This video represents all of the footage captured by the 165th and 166th Photographic signal companies of the U.S. Army Signal Corps during the historic operation of the invasion of western France. This DVD covers the actions of the 90th Infantry from the time they exit LSTs onto Utah Beach for the invasion, through the fighting in Normandy, to the end of August at the closing of the "Falaise Gap". All of the images on this video are a result of years of research at the National Archives in Washington. Most of the images presented here have never been broadcast to the public. This is a must have for veterans, relatives, re-enactors, or collectors of the 90th Infantry Division. All of the images above are stills taken from the footage conatined on this DVD. All footage is watermarked with a Combat Reels logo to prevent unauthorized use. This watermark does not obstruct the images. You can only purchase this video from Combat Reels Inc.
