ITS NICE TO SAVE YOUR MONEY. I DID TWICE .THIS TIME I BECOME AN EXPERT . ITS VERY EASY TO REPLACE THE BULB IN D.L.P. TV DO NOT PAY$300 .SAVE AROUND $200. ONE SHOULD KNOW HOW TO USE PHIILIPS SCREW DRIVER AND WIRE CUTTER.I DID NOT USED THE GLOVES CAME IN THE BOX. THEY WERE REALLY SMALL. YOU NEED A TIE WRAP FOR RE WIRING THIS LAMP WIRES TO THE HOLDER.I DID THIS REPAIR IN 15 MINUTES. NO LIE. I recieved the lamp in great condition. We had hardly any trouble installing it into the tv. Works perfectly!

Save youself a few bucks over lamp already installed in housing.You need gloves, a zip tie ( not provided )and a small phillips screwdriver.Took about 15 minutes on my kitchen counter. Picture looks like it did when T.V. was new so I would say quality of bulb is the same or better than original.

The light came speedy fast at a great price. I have replaced the lamp on my TV before but maybe I got a bad light or something cause it only lasted a week.

While the price was good, there are two issues that leave me disappointed. First, the bulb did not come complete with wires and a plug or any documentation at all. This meant I had to remove the wires and plug from my old bulb. Not difficult, but some may not be willing to perform the procedure. It should have been noted that they were not included. Second is the warranty. It is only 90 days. This is not mentioned anywhere on Amazon or the seller's web site. All other sellers have a 6 month or 1 year warranty on these bulbs and prominently display these terms on their sites.

My bulb came in a box all by itself & in good condition (3-4 days). It is also an original Osram bulb so I was happy about that.

After reading the other reviews, there's not too much to add other than I Youtubed the part number and there was a video showing just how simple it is to take the bulb out of the housing and install the new one.

I did need to get a couple of zip ties ( extra in case it didn't get it right the first time), some latex gloves and somthing small enough & strong enough to cut off the old zip tie.

I want to say that the purpose of the new zip tie is to keep the wire away from the heat of the lamp.. The video I am talking about didn't show the "zip tie" step but if you have any mechanical ability, this should be no problem.

Good luck & turn the volume down of the cheesy instructional video music. It almost made me want to smash the bulb against my head :/

I bought this item about 2 months ago for my mitsubishi wd62628. I received the item in abut a week. I installed it and everything seemed to be working fine till today I went to turn my TV on and the lamp light was on, I took the lamp out and noticed broken glass inside. I just contacted the seller to see if I can have it replaced because there is no way these things are made to last only 50-60 days.

This is the 4 th bulb this TV was to use in 6 yr & 5 months. I installed the bulb and put the TV back in its position, turned on the TV, adjusted the sound, pressed "guide" selected a different channel and the screen went blank and the TV turned itself off. I "reset" the TV per trouble shooting guide waited until green light quit flashing and pressed the "TV Power On button" the screen remained blank and after a brief period of seconds the TV turned itself off again. I then took out the new bulb(which now had loose particles inside the bulb) and put the old bulb back in. The TV now works.

Order process & delivery were excellent however the product was an absolute failure!

The only reason this didn't get 5 Stars for "ease of use" is because it doesn't have instructions, and the instructions on their website don't match 100% to this product. HOWEVER, I'll buy this again. I was nervous about purchasing something other than OEM, but it is as good or better than the bulb that was originally in the TV.

Considering that these little bulbs hold our hearts in their filaments, this was a great deal. I mean when the TV is dead, the ransom price is not the only thought -- we want it fat..right? Well these guys did it right..they did it fast..and it was cheaper than anyone else....highly recommended!
